Woodlanders has been a leader in offering a wide range of Citrus and Citrus hybrids which are hardy outdoors beyond the normal Citrus growing areas. This is one of the most cold hardy evergreen citrus. This small tree produces tangerine-like fruits which are quite tasty as well as attractive. As with other citrus it should be planted in sun or semi shade in well drained soil. This is a very old Chinese cultivar which is perhaps a hybrid involving C ichangensis. It is a hardy and early fruiting citrus here in Aiken, SC with fruit which is much relished by neighborhood kids !
